My name is not important. I was born somewhere and then I grew up. Along the way I went to school where I learned about stuff & things and how to survive. I then learned to fly small piston aircraft and gained a Private Pilot’s Licence. I then left school, joined the Royal Air Force and learned how to fly much bigger & much faster jet aircraft and helicopters. I then met and married a remarkable woman 52 years ago and along our journey together we had three wonderful children. I then left the Royal Air Force and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. I was then gifted with five beautiful grandchildren who are my complete inspiration; they keep me young, and they remind me of the great importance of family. I then started a photographic business 18 years ago, and this is where I am now. Photography is my calling, my passion and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday.

You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved – Ansel Adams
